About the event
BEELZEBUB, an immersive multi-disciplinary exhibition by artist and filmmaker Anna Van der Velde, where the boundaries between the real and digital worlds dissolve to explore the complex interplay of grief, societal pressure, and the human mind. Inspired by the inner struggles of the protagonist, Mariona Moranta Capllonch, the exhibition brings to life the haunting process of confronting one’s own psychological demons—represented by drones that dominate both her external and internal realities.
Through a unique fusion of live performance, 35mm film, CGI, and sensory experiences, BEELZEBUB envelops the audience in a visceral journey. This intricate layering of mediums invites the audience to explore the deeply personal and yet universally relatable themes of mental health, grief, and the struggle to let go.
